Your Custom 3-Step Plan

Step 1 - Activate Your Network
"Everyone has at least $100K in their network right now...EVERYONE!"
The first thing we are going to is Focus on just 2 client-getting strategies - Activating your Network and building a simple Funnel to nurture your prospects.
Almost any business has at least $100K sitting inside their network right now..what we need to do is get them working for you.
The second thing is, Rather than emailing your list your usual content, what we would do is create a simple strategy to communicate with your network.
This starts with Segmenting your list into what is typically 3 groups.
1. Champions - people who sing your praises from the rooftops,
2. Partners - people who are working with your ideal client but not in competition and finally
3. Prospects - people who you know would benefit from your services but who for whatever reason, haven’t had a conversation with you yet.


Step 2 - Build A Simple Funnel
"Moving people from one step to another should be frictionless"
Ok, so we have everyone where they need to be.
1. Champions - people who sing your praises from the rooftops,
2. Partners - people who are working with your ideal client but not in competition and finally
3. Prospects - people who you know would benefit from your services but who for whatever reason, haven’t had a conversation with you yet.
Next we want to devise a simple funnel to move them through.
Each one will be a little different with his own set of characteristics. The key here is to keep them really simple, with no more than four steps.
We would generally start with either a simple email or even a two minute video outlining how the market has changed and asking if there is anything that we can do to support them or anyone in their Network.
That would simply lead them to an invitation to book a phone call or a zoom call. This works particularly well for both champions and partners. When approaching prospects we may then an extra step including inviting them to a online training and from there into a phone call.
Step 3 - Segment and Communicate
"Sometimes we forget we are just talking to another human being"
Coming up with your communication flow or methodology is something you're going have to think about. Remember, each of your three buckets - champions, partners and prospects - likely have a different preferred way of communication.
Regardless of the methodology, the key in doing this is to keep your communication conversational, meaning we want to avoid any type of corporate speak.
It's important to remember that we are communicating with another human being, which is why we like to use language that we would typically use if we were actually communicating with a friend.
Keeping it conversational has the advantage of also being non-threatening.
